As a host I believe in giving our guests absolute privacy during their stay. The house is yours exclusively to use for the duration of your booking. The gourmet butcher shop is a must-try and the local bakery will have you asking for more pastries and pies! Berry is a haven for foodies, with a plethora of exceptional cafes and restaurants. If exploring is more your thing, then a stroll past the Berry Train Station will see you rejoicing in beautiful farmland, cattle and that fresh country air. For beach lovers, the stunning 7 Mile Beach is just a 10 minute drive away or you can enjoy one of the many coastal walks. Queenberry Cottage is two hours drive south of Sydney or two hours north of Canberra. We are approximately 1.3km from the Berry Train Station. Trains from Sydney change at Kiama and link to Berry Station. FOR OUR LITTLE GUESTS Queenberry Cottage has a high chair and change mat available on the property. Please bring your own travel cot and linen. WIFI & NETFLIX We provide our guests with complimentary WiFi and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email. There is a large smart TV in the living room so you can stream your favourite shows (BYO login credentials to access Netflix etc). Unfortunately as we are in a regional area, we cannot 100% guarantee that the WiFi will be available at all times, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If important, please therefore always have a back up plan. OUTDOOR SPA We believe in giving our guests an amazing holiday experience and offer an outdoor spa to relax in during your stay. The spa is set at a comfortable 36 degrees and we kindly request that the temperature is not adjusted during your stay as it affects water quality and energy usage. We have a spa technician that services the spa fortnightly (on Wednesdays). This is a firm and regular booking to ensure the jacuzzi is at its best at all times. We apologise for any inconvenience if the visit falls during your planned visit. The spa technician will access the property via the side gate, check the spa, complete any necessary maintenance and leave the property. SECURITY CAMERA Queenberry Cottage has a single motion sensitive flood light attached to the front of the house to provide lighting at night and to monitor guest numbers if needed. There are no cameras inside the house or the rear yard. The external camera records a short video when motion is detected. It will only be referred to if the house is overloaded with guests or if any disruptive or inappropriate behaviour is reported. The camera views the front gate, part of the front yard and driveway. DURING YOUR STAY Should you require assistance or emergency help during your stay, we will provide you with a contact number for the co-host and / or host. For after hours assistance between 5pm and 8am, please kindly text and either the host or co-host will respond as soon as possible. To ensure a comfortable stay for all guests, we accept a maximum of 6 adults and 2 children. Should you have a larger group to accommodate, we have a close relationship with another property in Berry village (about 2 blocks away from Queenberry Cottage) and would be happy to discuss the option of renting both houses.
